Den Haag Doet
A brand with multiple sub-brands. That is Den Haag Doet. A growing platform with a user profile log in environment
UX/UI design, responsive webdesign & development, Brand design, Digital design for social media and email marketing, offline design flyers, posters, banners. photography and (SEO and copy) writing
Den Haag Doet is the umbrella brand with 4 other sub-brands. The challenge was to develop a cohesive design for all platforms and yet give each platform a unique appearance. This was achieved through colours, fonts, texts and images. The technical development of a profile environment for users was an interesting challenge. Just like the websites, this environment is constantly evolving. We work on developments simultaneously through scrum and sprints
With a fast growing brand with many sub-labels, Liza took on a design job where a lot of experience and great communication skills are required. She did a great job in leading and being a part of the different tech and design teams, and communicated well with different stakeholders.
– Team Den Haag Doet
Work method: Agile Scrum
In order to continue to develop on all platforms, the various teams work with the Agile Scrum method. We chose the most important developments and their duration every 3 weeks. As a designer I was present at many teams to keep an overview.

Logos & colour
Logo & Colour theory
One main logo with 5 sublogo’s all with their main colour and sub colour. Chosen through colour theory and archetype user testing
Research & wireframes
To understand what our audience wants and how they view the new brand Den Haag Doet we did tens of interviews with volunteers in the city of The Hague and organisations who needed volunteers. The results were split up in 2 different groups and we analysed the results and started to design the solutions into wireframes.
We defined the elements that need to be present from page to page. It includes all the interface components that are needed for all possible interactions.
One of the pages you can view on the left. This is a page for the sublabel Den Haag Doet vrijwilligersacademie. Where a volunteer can see all the information they need about a workshop they would like to attent.
